Aims & Objectives

Course Content

Module One: Introduction to Psychological Counseling

This module focuses on understanding the what, why, dos and don'ts and nature of Counseling. The second part deals with the attributes of a counselor.

Module Two: Counseling Process

It discusses the underlined processes of how Counseling actually works and a generic model of the same is imparted. It will also discuss the nuances of the Counseling Relationship.

Module Three : Self Awareness as a Counsellor

Self awareness as an individual and more importantly as a Counselor is looked at. It becomes crucial for the Counsellors, the Client and the Counseling practice to proceed smoothly.

This course is highly suitable for practicing teachers, doctors, HR personnel and other helping professionals, parents & students. Previous knowledge of psychology is not mandatory.
